Replaced the CarboPlus with injected CO2 (put the Carbo in the 67). BIG BGA outbreak! Ouch! Asked the plantlist what I should do.

The BGA (BlueGreen Algae, aka Cyanobacteria) got BAD by the time I got back from vacation. |

I had to add Maracyn (Erythormycin) and it did a GREAT JOB!. Current gravel is 10years old. |

Now getting a quote to replace this tank with a larger one and better setup (ug cables, wet/dry, etc.). |

Got some new plants from AquaBotanic to help eat those nutrients and outcompete the BGA. |

Still battling some BGA algae. Turns out I was under-nutrienting (algae always makes me wanna lighten up on the dosing... bad boy!) |

This seems to be a side affect of teh BGA, but my corys died, and I've not seen my bristlenose for a while. :( |

Recently added NEW lighting from AH Supply and got a big algae bloom (expected). |

Added CO2 (Carbo Plus) and a UV Sterilizer so I can help to get a handle on the cyanobacteria AND improve plant growth. |
